An elderly and dependent adult is defined as persons 18 to 64 years old, or aged 65 or older who is suspected of being abused or neglected, is vulnerable to abuse for a variety of reasons such as developmental disabilities, mental illness, physical limitations or medical issues. Solano County FVIT provides services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and elder abuse throughout Solano County's unincorporated areas in partnership with the Solano County Sheriff's Office. Services are provided out of the Solano Family Justice Center in Fairfield.
